The Department of Anesthesiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA welcomes you!
 Harbor-UCLA is a 425-bed tertiary care facility and Level 1 trauma center. As a member of Los Angeles County's health care system, Harbor-UCLA provides much needed treatment to an indigent and appreciative population.
Our freestanding residency program provides excellent training in all subspecialty areas and has been tailored to offer a broad range of experiences to prepare its residents for success. We offer exposure to a diverse and interesting patient population, resulting in an excellent clinical and challenging educational experience affiliated with UCLA School of Medicine.
Our curriculum includes rotations in intensive care, pain management, cardiothoracic, obstetric, and neurosurgical anesthesia. In addition to rotations at Harbor-UCLA, excellent hands-on training is obtained at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Our hospital is uniquely located within 15 minutes from the spectacular Palos Verdes Peninsula and the beautiful beach cities of Los Angeles. Year-round weather and excellent access to sports activities are the norm, and the San Bernardino and Sierra Nevada Mountains are within driving distance. |
